We’re baaaaack! Remember ten thousand years ago, when we played at Mercury Lounge, and we asked you to bring all your friends, and your little cousins, and their babysitters for a bunch of industry, important, blah-blah-blah? Well, that one was for them. This one’s for us. I’ve spent the past few months crafting a new vision for this band, and we’ve been re-arranging, re-discussing, and re-re-hearsing to bring you something very special next Sunday, June 26th, at 7 PM.And we’re doing it at Stage 2 at Rockwood Music Hall, which is about TWICE the size of our usual Stage 1. So you know what that means! Please call your cousins’ babysitters again! And the members of the organized group activity they belong to! And the guy behind the counter where their parents get sandwiches! We need to fill this place up! With exclamation points! A picture I took from the Freestyle Love Supreme show at Irving Plaza on June 16th.
As Lin was freestyling about someone’s experience, he started throwing in stuff about zombies. In this moment, Lin and Chris are the last 2 people on earth and Anthony is pretending to be a zombie. Lin’s character helplessly watches as Anthony’s zombie attacks Chris.
